Durban 's Kwaito star Tzozo’s family home burns down

Kwaito star Tzozo is a sad man.

His family home in Umgababa, south of Durban, was burnt down yesterday morning.
The house was occupied by his niece, Zama Hlatshwayo (23) and her siblings. When the SunTeam arrived at the house at about 4.30am, firefighters had put out the fire.

According to Zama, the house was burnt down by her boyfriend, who is the father of her baby.

She said he became jealous after he saw her with the father of her firstborn child on Monday.
Zama said later that night her boyfriend returned to her home and beat her with a wheel spanner.
“I fought back and my sister helped me until we managed to escape to the neighbour’s house.

 “After a few hours we heard a noise and when we went to check, we found our house in flames.”
Tzozo said the incident has spoiled his South African Music Awards mood.
